Inquiry into Math

We completed our Multiplication test today! My oh my did the students do well on these! I am so proud of them! Keep practicing those times tables!  At the end of the day, we briefly got to explore division fact tables and the students discussed what they noticed.

- Division is multiplication backwards (ex. 24 / 6 = 4 or 4 x 6 = 24)

- Any number divided by 1 is always the other number

- Any number divided by itself is always 1 

We will continue to explore division facts tomorrow and further examine the relationship between multiplication and division.

Unit of Inquiry

We continued to work on our summative tasks today. Some of us finished our display boards or booklets, and moved on to practicing for when we present the information to the class. Presentations will begin tomorrow!

Inquiry into Language

Depending on how far we got with our summatives, if we finished, we moved on to working on Lesson 7 in our Speller workbooks, then moved on to working on our cursive writing. If we finished all of this, we had some time to silent read!
