- PJ Day tomorrow
Student-led conferences are tomorrow. Please ensure that you schedule a time slot through "pickatime" if you would like to meet with me.
We will be having our in-class spelling bee competition tomorrow to determine who will compete in this years spelling bee. Students should be practicing the words that were sent home before the march break. The Spelling Bee date has changed to Monday, April 8th.

Unit of Inquiry
We finished our Soil Experiment by recording the results in our last jar. Students had to write what they observed and write their conclusion in their notebooks. For their conclusions, students had to state whether their hypothesis was correct or not, and provide details of what the results were.
Once our experiment was finished, students continued to work on their Soil Art.
RECESS/ LUNCH
Inquiry into Math
Today we continued with the concept of similar shapes. Similar shapes are shapes that are proportional to each other. The angles of similar shapes are the same and their sides are proportional to each side of the original shape. We completed some examples together then students went off to explore and create similar shapes on their own.
