We are preparing for our 2018 Christmas Concert occurring Tuesday, December 18th. Our singing and dancing is coming along really well! Can't wait for everyone to see!

Inquiry into Language:
We silently read for about 25 minutes. Then we rehearsed our dance together a couple more times before heading to our first rehearsal this afternoon.
RECESS/ LUNCH
Christmas Concert Rehearsal:
This afternoon we rehearsed with all the Grade 3s-6s to run through our full performance.
Inquiry into Math:
In partners we reviewed the homework we did yesterday on median, mode and range. We worked very well by cooperating and hearing each others answers. When we disagreed with an answer we made sure to do the question again to see what our final answer would be.
Mode: the number that occurs most frequently in a set of data
Median: the middle number in our set of data. When solving the median it's important to arrange our data points in numerical order then find our middle data point. If there are two numbers in the middle then we must find the sum of these two numbers, then divide our sum by 2 to find out what our median will be.
