Kindness Day
Next Wednesday is international Kindness Day. A form was sent home with your child today explaining what it is and how they can participate. If they participate, please return the form and $2 by Tuesday!
Remembrance Day Assembly & House Game
This morning we started the day off with a house game where students had to carry a ping-pong ball on a spoon around a cone and back so the next person in their house could go. THETA came in FIRST for the Jk-Grade 5s. It was a little more challenging for the Grade 6 students, where ZETA came in FIRST! Well done Theta and Zeta!
Once the house game was done, Ms. Hocevar's class lead us into a Remembrance Day Assembly. On Monday, I hope some of you make it to your local Cenotaph to partake Remembrance Day activities.
Inquiry into Math
Today we reviewed the concepts we learned yesterday. We went over how to draw a neat and organized table of values on lined paper, using a ruler. Students worked independently on this task. If they finished the first worksheet, they moved on to the next to practice identifying the pattern rule and applying it.
Christmas Concert Rehearsals
Today we had Ms. Laura come in to help us with our choreography for the Christmas Concert. She was phenomenal! Ms. Chiappetta also helped Ms. Laura teach us our steps. The students did so well and had a lot of fun learning their dance moves! I can't wait to see their final performance!
