Unit of Inquiry
We continued with our UOI presentations today. I am so proud of the way the students presented their information and the way they responded to their peers questions. After the presentations were done, we completed our individual learner profile reflections on the unit. Then each student selected four pieces of work to put into their IB binders, which travel from grade to grade with them: their best work, something they worked their hardest on, something they need to improve on and a learner profile reflection.

Inquiry into Math
Today was a continuation from yesterday, along with some word problems. We began with a fast facts multiplication quiz of our 7x tables, then went on to solving a word problem together. When solving this question, we demonstrated four different ways to show our work. We all show our learning in different ways, so it's important to recognize that there is never only one way to solve a problem. Once the students completed their worksheet, they had the choice to work on their workbook pages, or play a division game with a friend. Most of them were able to finish all homework and play the game.
