Raptors Day Wednesday!!
In support of our Toronto Raptors in the finals, students are allowed to dress in raptors clothing on Wednesday. This does not include just wearing the raptors colours. It has to be any sort of Raptors shirt with a logo/saying that represents the Raptors. GO RAPTORS GO!

Unit of Inquiry
Students began to work on their summative package today. As a class we went over the expectations for each component of their summative and read through their summative graphic organizer. Everyone worked so well on selecting an item that already exists, then changing its function/purpose. We had quite a bit of time to work on these today, so we will take a break from them tomorrow. Their good copy of their print advertisement is due by Friday. Keep up the hard work everyone!

Inquiry into Language
We began to learn more about commas to help us in our writing. Today's focus was on the placement of commas when there is non-essential information in a sentence. We also reviewed where commas go when quotations are part of our writing. We went over some examples together, then students began to work on their homework activities.

Inquiry into Math
Students completed their length, area and perimeter test today. Tomorrow students will begin to review their multiplication facts and strategies to solving simple and complex multiplication questions in a variety of instances.

AGENDA
- Spelling Lesson 34
- Language: Comma worksheets (3 pages)
- Read for 25 minutes
